Our data center will be the most modern and energy-efficient data center in Finland. We can offer our customers a unique, energy efficient facility providing not only traditional data center services but also the whole ICT infrastructure, application platforms or applications maintained by us”, says Petri Niittymäki, Head of Enterprise Business, TeliaSonera Finland.

Finland is a good place for data security as the regulatory regime supports non-interference and therefore is compliant with European data protection laws and cross border services platform.  The rapidly growing hosting market and services going to the cloud have a prerequisite of safe havens and Finland can provide a solid platform together with good and developing connectivity.  Also, the total cost of operations running data center services in Finland is world class and recent investments on the private and public level support the uptake of Finnish based cross border services. There are also recent announcements of cross border services provided between Finland and Germany and this provides an excellent opportunity to build a digital single market with strong and reliable industrial countries. As Industrial internet is taking its rapid growth steps we believe this is the right time to invest in future, says Jukka-Pekka Joensuu
